Job summary

NSS is seeking a Compliance Services Regulatory Specialist to support clients effectively in environmental and emergency management. The role demands extensive experience with regulatory documents and communication skills to simplify complex regulations. With frequent domestic travel, the position is predominantly self-directed.

Successful candidates will demonstrate ability in managing multiple projects, creating regulatory compliance plans, and working independently while ensuring client satisfaction. This position offers a full-time commitment.

Qualifications

• 5 – 10 years of experience with SPCC Plans, FRPs (USCG/EPA), OSRPs (BSEE/PHMSA).
• Strong technical writing abilities and understanding of relevant regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with environmental and emergency management regulatory programs.
• Create and maintain relationships with assigned clients.
• Translate regulatory language into understandable terms.
