Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist to provide expert technical leadership and project oversight for environmental compliance consulting services.

This role includes supporting regulatory compliance programs and mentoring staff. The position offers a hybrid work model for candidates in the New England area, with responsibilities spanning a diverse portfolio of clients.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, extensive compliance experience, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of environmental compliance experience with project leadership responsibilities.
• Expertise in federal, state, and local regulations (RCRA, CAA, NPDES, DOT).
• Professional licensure or certification preferred (PE, CHMM, CSP, MA TURP).

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee environmental compliance projects ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Provide QA/QC reviews of technical reports, plans, permit applications, and proposals.
• Lead environmental compliance audits and regulatory applicability reviews.
