Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks a Manager, Environmental Services to design and oversee environmental programs ensuring regulatory compliance for air and ground ambulance operations. The role is remote with residency requirements in WA, OR, or Hawaii and up to 50% travel within the United States.

You will lead regulatory liaison, audits, waste management, spill planning, and training to promote sustainable practices and minimize environmental impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Several years of environmental management experience, preferably in EMS/ambulance sector.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Environmental compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for air/ground ambulance operations.
  • Regulatory liaison with agencies and stakeholders.
  • Conduct environmental audits and implement corrective actions with operations leadership.
  • Oversee waste management and hazardous waste disposal programs.
  • Develop spill response plans for air and ground operations.
  • Provide environmental training to employees and coordinate risk assessments.
  • Prepare and submit environmental reports to agencies and management.
