Job summary

GHD's U.S. West Mining Team seeks a motivated Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of legacy mine reclamation and remediation projects.

This role targets a technically skilled professional with about five years of industry experience transitioning into project management. You will coordinate activities, support client communications, manage schedules and budgets, and help deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, Geotechnical, Environmental, or Mining Engineering, or related field.
• About 5+ years of technical experience in environmental remediation.
• Experience with report writing, data management and interpretation, and client coordination.
• Project budgeting exposure and ability to manage budgets.
• Understanding of project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental field data collection, soil & groundwater investigations, and technical report preparation programs.
• Coordinate project activities, support client communications, manage schedules and budgets.
• Help deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ownership and follow-through on commitments.
