Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Atlanta seeks an Environmental Staff Project Manager to support environmental consulting projects through fieldwork, technical analysis, reporting, and coordination.

This role begins developing ownership of project tasks, client relationships, budgets, and schedules while working under the guidance of senior project management staff. You will contribute to project success through technical execution and professional client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related field.
• 1-3 years of HUD Environmental Assessments and Georgia DCA Environmental Reports experience.
• Professional license not required but helpful for career progression.

Responsibilities

• Completes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments under supervision.
• Prepare HUD environmental reviews and Phase I ESAs meeting Georgia DCA requirements.
• Conduct site reconnaissance, records review, and report preparation.
• Contributes to environmental due diligence reports and technical documentation.
• Develops technical writing skills through project deliverables.
• Initiates project setup and implementation with limited supervision.
• Performs groundwater, soil, and media sampling activities.
• Supervises drill crews and supports investigation activities under senior oversight.
