Job summary

NatureBridge in Yosemite National Park is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee logistical operations for on-site environmental science programs, ensuring a welcoming guest experience and coordinating with campus departments for seamless program delivery.

Applicants need 2–4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree, Wilderness First Responder certification, strong risk management, and proficiency with CRM systems and Google tools, plus excellent communication and leadership

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree
• Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification
• Robust risk management experience and expertise
• Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Excellent communicator with strong customer service orientation
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to make decisions independently while coordinating multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated office experience, managing and communicating information quickly and accurately
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Google tools
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and enthusiastic attitude

Responsibilities

• Create and update the weekly Environmental Science staffing schedule in Salesforce and ensure details are accurate
• Manage scheduling requests from Educators with supervisor approval
• Partner with Sales and Education to meet program scheduling goals
• Train Educators on program logistics and schedule management
• Route paperwork to designated locations in a timely manner
• Hire, supervise and train Administrative Educator positions; in-person on campus at least twice weekly
• Prepare weekly reports for participant lodgings, meals, transportation and recreation
• Refine and communicate logistics systems to ensure smooth program implementation
• Update Yosemite Operations and Program Logistics Manual and Educator Manuals
• Address risk management concerns with clients/vendors and coordinate modifications with staff
• Work with National Director of Risk Management on cases and policy implementation
• Occasional weekend and night work
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Participate in monthly cross-department meetings and annual reviews with other campuses
