Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating regulatory strategies, managing consultants, and communicating risks to executives. Travel to project sites and regulatory meetings is required as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience in environmental permitting or related fields.
• Experience managing multiple projects across development stages and shifting priorities.
• Background in environmental and permitting matters with varied regulatory regimes.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, agencies, consultants, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental studies and permitting for wind, solar, storage, and transmission projects.
• Assess environmental risks and communicate to project teams and management.
• Obtain environmental permits and approvals from local, state, and federal agencies.
• Supervise environmental consultants across scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Conduct environmental due diligence for potential acquisitions and evaluate permitting considerations.
• Track and interpret regulatory developments impacting Pattern’s portfolio.
• Represent Pattern at conferences and in discussions with agencies and local governments.
• Support broader development activities including interconnection, land acquisition, and stakeholder engagement.
