Job summary

DESRI is seeking a senior permitting manager to lead environmental permitting efforts across its U.S. development portfolio. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, due diligence, and collaboration with external consultants to meet project timelines and financial goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in environmental consulting or permitting, with a preference for renewable energy experience. Occasional travel is required as projects span multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an environmental field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or permitting preferred.
• Experience with renewable energy permitting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead permitting matters across DESRI’s development portfolio and provide expert environmental support.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations; support due diligence for environmental permitting, siting, and approvals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants; drive environmental assessments (Section 7 and Section 106) initiatives.
• Assess and communicate environmental risks and provide cost-effective solutions to meet project objectives.
• Travel as needed to support permitting activities across diverse sites.
