Intersect is advancing gigawatt-scale wind, solar, and data center projects in the U.S. through environmental permitting and land-use planning.

You will join the Environmental Permitting team to support permits, regulatory strategy, and coordination across development, engineering, GIS, and legal teams. The role emphasizes collaboration, risk identification, and navigating complex regulatory landscapes to enable project success across multiple hubs in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Urban/Regional Planning or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in environmental permitting or regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Ability to travel within the United States regularly.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate land access efforts for surveys and permit applications.
• Prepare and coordinate environmental documents and permitting strategy.
• Manage external consultants for surveys and diligence documents.
• Maintain permitting schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Summarize permitting requirements and track regulatory changes.
• Assist in reviewing site-specific considerations for development decisions.
• Attend site visits and regulatory meetings; take concise notes for internal teams.
• Prepare materials for external stakeholders and meetings with agencies and communities.
• Support submission and coordination of discretionary permits and entitlements.
