Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
  • Master's degree or professional license preferred.
  • Minimum seven years in environmental compliance, permitting, and business development in energy.
  • Experience supporting environmental permitting and compliance for renewable energy projects.
  • Knowledge of permitting, regulatory authorizations, and due diligence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental permitting, licensing, and compliance for wind, solar, and battery storage projects.
  • Lead environmental due diligence and fatal-flaw reviews for development sites.
  • Support California-specific regulatory activities for renewable projects.
  • Monitor schedules and ensure permits and approvals are secured timely.
  • Manage environmental budgets for due diligence, permitting, and compliance.
  • Oversee consultants and contractors providing environmental services.
  • Maintain records of approvals, submissions, and permits.
  • Provide training on environmental laws and practices.
