Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Environmental Engineer to support environmental permitting and monitoring for renewable power projects across wind, solar, and storage developments.

You will coordinate with BD, Project Engineers, and external contractors, lead environmental due diligences, feasibility studies, and monitoring plans, and ensure compliance with IFC/US standards while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in the environmental engineering field.
• Fluent English; Italian or Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address environmental topics across project stages to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Define technical specifications for environmental authorization documents.
• Provide technical support to colleagues for environmental constraint compliance.
• Manage external contractors for environmental assessments and monitoring.
• Lead Environmental Due Diligences, Feasibility Studies, and Permitting Documents.
• Support planning of project activities in collaboration with BD and engineers.
