Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist 1 for our Lombard, IL environmental testing laboratory. This full-time, onsite role conducts hands-on analysis using GC, HPLC, ICP to ensure accuracy of environmental data.

You will document procedures, maintain instruments, and review results to support safe, healthy communities. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field is required; training is provided.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related sciences; or an equivalent combination of education and training.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment and wear PPE; training provided by Pace.

Mansioni

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and analyze air, water and soil samples.
• Review and interpret analytical results and document procedures and observations.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments; ensure quality of data records.

Formazione

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other science related degrees
