Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist 1 for our Lombard, IL laboratory. This full-time, on-site role operates Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with compensation of $20 per hour.

You will perform hands-on analysis in our environmental testing lab, contributing to accurate data that supports community health and safety. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related science, and the ability to work in a lab setting with required PPE.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other science related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory with PPE and safety procedures.
• We are happy to provide training.

Mansioni

• Operate instruments such as GC, HPLC, and ICP to analyze samples.
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established methods.
• Review and interpret analytical results.
• Document procedures and results to maintain lab records.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
