Job summary

Actalent in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an Environmental Lab Technician to oversee a CMEC-accredited laboratory and support field teams. You will manage testing programs, perform data entry, and ensure accuracy of test results in accordance with ASTM procedures.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt, with a focus on maintaining equipment and coordinating daily workflow in a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction materials testing in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to interpret ASTM standards and USACE documentation.
• Proficient data entry and laboratory software usage.

Responsibilities

• Enter data from tests into reports and maintain records.
• Develop and maintain laboratory testing programs.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate workflow and support 10–11 field technicians.
• Perform soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt testing per ASTM procedures.
