Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Lead Technician in St. Louis, MO to coordinate and perform lab testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt.

Responsibilities include data entry, program maintenance, equipment calibration, and ensuring CMEC accreditation compliance. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in a material testing lab, ACI certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience entering laboratory test data into reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and basic computer literacy required.
• Technical aptitude to interpret test procedures and results and communicate with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Enter data from laboratory tests into reports.
• Maintain and develop laboratory testing programs.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and track maintenance.
• Understand ASTM, AASHTO, USACE documentation and certifications to manage CMEC accreditation.
• Perform physical lab testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt per ASTM procedures.
• Communicate test procedures, results, and specifications to team, clients, and inspectors.
