Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Laboratory Technician I to join our Cleveland lab team. You will perform concrete and soils testing, interpret data, and prepare reports under supervision, contributing to QA/QC and accreditation processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic certifications and one additional certification as per ECS Technician Policy.
• Experience with laboratory testing methods and ASTM standards is preferred.
• Ability to interpret test data and prepare summaries or reports.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing on construction material samples.
• Applies standard and advanced testing procedures per established methods.
• Interprets test data and prepares summaries or reports under the Laboratory Manager.
• Performs calculations and data reduction for test results.
• Maintains a clean, organized lab in compliance with QA/QC and accreditation requirements.
• Trains and mentors junior laboratory staff and supports occasional fieldwork.
