Actalent is seeking an Engineering Test Technician to perform field and laboratory materials testing on soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel in Kansas City, KS. This contract-to-hire role requires accurate reporting, safe handling of samples, and clear communication with stakeholders.

An emphasis on safety, punctual data submission, and readiness to work both outdoors and in the lab is required; the position is onsite in Kansas City, KS.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of construction materials testing experience.
• Hands-on concrete testing and inspection expertise.
• Familiarity with field inspections on active construction sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle field/lab tasks.
• Ability to prepare digital reports and data entry.
• Knowledge of safety standards for field and lab work.

Responsabilidades

• Perform field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel.
• Conduct concrete testing and inspection to meet project specifications.
• Carry out construction inspection to verify quality and compliance.
• Transport samples to the lab with proper labeling and documentation.
• Document data in written and digital reports daily for stakeholders.
• Communicate testing results clearly to project managers and client reps.
• Maintain testing equipment and work areas for reliability and safety.
• Assist with scheduling technicians for project sites as needed.
• Follow safety protocols in field, lab, and office environments.
