Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Lead Technician in St. Louis, MO to coordinate and perform CMET testing. You will manage testing programs, calibrate equipment, and ensure compliance with ASTM/ACI standards while delivering exceptional service.

The role requires 3+ years in a material testing lab, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and an ACI certification; a driving license is also required. Strong communication and physical lifting duties are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years' experience in a material testing laboratory.
• ACI Certification required.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable driving record.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Moderate lifting is part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Enter data from laboratory tests into reports.
• Maintain and develop laboratory testing programs.
• Handle equipment, calibrations, and maintenance tracking.
• Understand ASTM, AASHTO, USACE and related certifications.
• Perform physical lab testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt per procedures.
• Communicate test procedures, specs and results to team and customers.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment, methods and applicable specs.
