Job summary

Stantec in Fort Collins or Denver, CO is seeking a Staff Engineer/Geologist/Scientist for our Environmental Services Group. The role blends field and office tasks on environmental site assessments, due diligence, and remediation projects, including data collection, subcontractor oversight, data interpretation, and deliverable preparation.

Qualifications include a BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related Earth Sciences, 3–5 years of related experience, and OSHA 40-hour

Qualifications

• BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related Earth Sciences.
• Minimum 3-5 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field activities and subcontractors.
• Perform field work including Phase I ESA site visits, groundwater sampling, drilling oversight, soil logging, asbestos inspections.
• Prepare technical documents for review.
• Represent Stantec with clients, property owners, subcontractors and other stakeholders in field assignments.
• Demonstrate sound application of established practices, standards and guidelines.
• Complete health and safety trainings as required (OSHA, etc.).
• Travel and overnight stays as needed.
