Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks an environmental field professional to support assessment and remediation tasks at refinery and industrial sites. You will conduct fieldwork, collect samples, supervise drilling, and help prepare technical reports.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and coordination with multiple offices. Ideal candidates have a BS in Geology or Environmental Science, 0–3 years’ experience, and a willingness to travel and work outdoors in diverse conditions.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
0–3 years of environmental assessment/remediation experience.
40-hour HAZWOPER certification and 8-hour refresher desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform environmental field work at commercial/industrial facilities.
Collect samples of soil, sediment, water, and air; oversee drilling and wells.
Prepare site maps, logs, diagrams, and cross sections; analyze data.
Complete health & safety training and follow policies; work with multiple staff.
Travel may be required; field work outdoors in varying conditions.
