Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking a Geologist or Scientist to join our Resilience Environment team. You will contribute to soil, water, and air quality projects, and participate in Phase I/II investigations, drilling oversight, and remediation activities.

The role emphasizes fieldwork, safety, data processing, and timely technical reporting. Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Geology or related field, with 2 years of experience and proficiency in MS Office; NJ regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or closely related field.
• 2 years of relevant work experience highlighted in your resume.
• Working knowledge of MS Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.
• Overseeing field activities including drilling oversight for soil sampling and groundwater well installation, sampling, and remediation.
• Providing emergency response support for train derailments/HAZMAT spills with potential US travel.
• Writing and preparing technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda.
• Data processing including table and trend analysis; modeling of groundwater plumes.
• Office tasks: coordination, data analysis, budgeting, and safety plan preparation.
