Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. is seeking a Geologist or Scientist to join our Resilience Environment team in Hillsborough, New Jersey. This role emphasizes fieldwork, site characterization, and remediation tasks across soil, groundwater, and air quality projects.

You will work with Project Managers to plan field activities, supervise drilling operations, and assist with data analysis, reporting, and health and safety in dynamic environments. The position supports travel across the US as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or closely related field (i.e., environmental science, physical science)
• 2 years of relevant work experience highlighted in your resume

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks
• Fieldwork focus with collection and documentation of soil, air/vapor, groundwater, and surface water samples
• Oversee subcontractors, including drilling operations and groundwater well installation; support remedial system operation and maintenance checks
