Arcadis is seeking an Entry-Level Environmental Scientist or Geologist to join our Resilience Environment team in the New Jersey and Tri-state area. The role involves both field and office work, with 50% to 90% in the field, and regional travel expected.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Environmental Science, Geology or related field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• 1 year of field experience preferred and OSHA HAZWOPER training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation and remediation tasks.
• Conduct field work including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling with regional travel up to 1–2 days per week and occasional longer trips.
• Prepare subcontracts and oversee subcontractors; write technical reports, work plans, letters and memoranda.
