Job summary

Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Field Services Technician. This field role includes cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

You will work in varying weather, operate equipment, and adhere to strict safety policies. Responsibilities include field sampling, calibration of meters, PPE usage, and on-call emergency response on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Background check, drug test, and physical required.
• On-call availability, weekends/holidays may be required; emergency response can extend beyond 8 hours.
• OSHA respiratory protection standards compliance may apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety as a top priority by following procedures and policies.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and a range of hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE correctly, including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Handle hazardous materials and assist in field sampling and meter calibration.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and work from trucks, tanks, and containers.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis and support site remediation.
