Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company in Ashland, KY is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to join our safety-conscious team. This role performs hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in the field.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required to perform field duties.
• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating schedule; weekends/holidays possible.
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam may be required per position.
• OSHA respirator standards may apply and facial hair policies must be followed.

Responsabilités

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and safe work practices.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and hand tools; use vibration-producing tools.
• Wear PPE, including respirators, skin, face, hands, and feet protection.
• Work in varied temperatures; outdoor/indoor conditions; potential exposure to hazardous agents.
• Work in elevated noise, confined spaces, ladders and scaffolding, and low clearance areas.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and enter/exits of trucks, tanks and containers.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with local/state/federal regulations.
• On-call emergency response on rotating basis; may require extended hours.
