Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company in Shelbyville, KY is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to join our safety-conscious team, performing hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials on-site.

You will work outdoors in all weather, operate light and heavy equipment, follow strict PPE protocols, and participate in on-call emergency response on rotating basis. The role emphasizes safety, physical endurance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks per responsibilities.
• On-call emergency response availability is required.
• Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies as the top priority.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and lift heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools.
• Wear and properly use PPE including respirators and skin protection.
• Work in varying temperatures and outdoor weather conditions.
• Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
• On-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
