Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Leland, NC is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. The role involves hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in the field.

All new hires attend a two-week training academy; travel expenses are paid and per diem is provided. We value health and safety, offer strong benefits, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide service provider.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks.
• Must be willing to be on-call for emergencies.
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam required.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA respirator requirements.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and operate tools and equipment.
• Wear and use PPE and follow safety protocols.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders, scaffolding and work in various environments.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Safely load and unload waste and transport materials.
