Job summary

Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company in Allentown, PA is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

The position includes on-call emergency response on a rotating schedule, adherence to health and safety policies, and potential travel for training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor in field conditions.
• Must be able to work in varied temperatures and weather.
• On-call emergency response availability is required; weekends/holidays may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies to keep safety as the top priority.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and operate tools and equipment.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Conduct waste handling, loading/unloading of hazardous materials, and site cleanup.
• Be available for emergency response on a rotating basis.
