The Planet Group is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist for field-based waste management and lab packing services in Arizona. The role involves sorting, transporting materials, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance for each job.

Qualifications

• This is a safety sensitive position.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local Environmental laws and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety is the top priority and follow all policies.
• Provide Lab Packing services at customer sites and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Sample and characterize customer waste when needed.
• Assist in segregating chemicals by class and prepare for transportation.
• Determine supplies and travel to sites to perform lab pack services.
• Assist in characterizing materials at field project sites.
• Follow placarding and load segregation requirements during transport.
• Develop good client relations by communicating with Customers.
• Direct Field Technicians/Drivers assisting with waste collection.
• Introductory knowledge of high hazard materials management and cylinder handling.
