Job summary

Ross Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Services technician to perform lab packing and chemical handling at customer locations, primarily universities, hospitals, and laboratories.

You will identify, classify, package, and label hazardous waste for transportation and disposal, while preparing documentation and manifests for regulatory compliance. This field-based role requires working at various customer sites, with 40-50% local travel and occasional overnight out-of-state travel.

Qualifications

• Background in chemistry, environmental science, biology, hazardous materials, or related field.
• Experience in environmental services, hazardous waste, remediation, or laboratory operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab packing and chemical handling at customer locations.
• Identify, classify, package, and label chemical materials and hazardous waste.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, manifests, packing lists, labels, and other project paperwork.
• Travel to customer locations for projects and coordinate with Ross team.
