Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking an entry level Environmental Field Chemist to support on-site waste management and regulatory compliance. You will sort, transport, and manage hazardous waste while collaborating with facility management and lab teams to ensure safety and adherence to RCRA and DOT guidelines.

Open to recent graduates with no experience, the position offers extensive training and potential advancement into a direct hire. Expect up to a 75 lb lift requirement and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Environmental Science or Business-related degree required or 2+ years of industry experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication are required for effective collaboration.
• Ability to manage safety, regulation compliance, and lab pack services with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sort and transport materials and waste.
• Manage hazardous and chemical waste programs on-site with OSHA, EPA, DOT and RCRA compliance.
• Train staff on chemical safety and waste management.
