Clean Harbors in Bristol, CT is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste at customer sites and facilities, indoors and outdoors. This is a customer-facing role working daily at client locations.

Qualified candidates should have CDL Class B, be able to obtain hazmat/tanker endorsements within 30 days, and be available Mon-Fri with some Saturdays. The position offers opportunities for growth within Clean Harbors.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B required.
• Hazmat and tanker endorsement must be obtainable within 30 days.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday; some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Pack, inspect, and label chemical waste per regulations.
• Prepare packing lists, labels, and land disposal notifications.
• Inspect storage areas and drums for leaks and labeling compliance.
• Transport wastes safely to customer sites and facilities.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies.
