Job summary

Wright-Pierce in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Environmental Entry-Level Engineer to join our Southeast One Water team. This role involves planning, design, and construction administration for wastewater, drinking water distribution, storage and treatment projects, with field work.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with MS preferred, 0–2 years experience, and Engineer in Training certification preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Engineer in Training certification preferred.

• Willingness to perform field work and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Planning, design, and construction administration for wastewater and drinking water projects.
• Provide support to Lead Project Engineers and team members.
• Hydraulic design – pumps and piping systems, distribution modeling.
• Treatment design and reporting responsibilities.
• Field work and site visits as part of project execution.

Job description

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seekingan Environmental Entry-Level Engineerto join our company. This position will be working with our Southeast One Water team in theJacksonville, FL office.

Salary: $73,000 - $75,000

NOTE: Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location.

Responsibilities

• Planning, design, and construction administration for various wastewater, drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects
• Provide support to Lead Project Engineers and other Team members
• Hydraulic design – pump and piping systems
• Hydraulic distribution system modeling
• Treatment design
• Write technical reports, memos, and other communications
• Field work
