Job summary

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning environmental engineering firm, is seeking an Environmental Entry-Level Engineer to join the Southeast One Water team in the Jacksonville, FL office. Salary ranges from $73,000 to $75,000, with final salary based on education, experience, and location.

This role focuses on planning, design, and construction administration for water and wastewater projects, supporting senior engineers, and performing hydraulic design and modeling.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; M.S. preferred.
• Engineer in Training Certification preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience required.
• Location: Jacksonville, FL office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and provide construction administration for wastewater, drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects.
• Support Lead Project Engineers and team members.
• Perform hydraulic design for pumps and piping systems.
• Model hydraulic distribution systems.
• Design treatment processes.
• Prepare technical reports and memos.
• Conduct field work.

Job description

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking an Environmental Entry-Level Engineer to join our company. This position will be working with our Southeast One Water team in the Jacksonville, FL office.

Salary: $73,000 - $75,000

NOTE: Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location.

Responsibilities

• Planning, design, and construction administration for various wastewater, drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects
• Provide support to Lead Project Engineers and other Team members
• Hydraulic design – pump and piping systems
• Hydraulic distribution system modeling
• Treatment design
• Write technical reports, memos, and other communications
• Field work
