Job summary

BSI Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to support industrial and commercial clients with environmental compliance, permitting, and related consulting services. The role involves client interaction and managing multiple assignments from fieldwork through technical reporting.

Primary focus is environmental consulting with strong emphasis on regulatory interpretation, technical writing, and delivering site-specific recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil, chemical, geological, or related field and 3–8 years of professional environmental consulting experience.
• Experience working directly with regulated facilities and clients in a consulting capacity.
• Experience preparing environmental permits, plans, reports, or compliance deliverables across multiple environmental media.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% to client sites and field activities.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance and consulting projects for industrial and commercial clients.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental requirements to client operations.
• Prepare and support environmental permit applications, plans, reports, inventories, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct site visits, records reviews, and environmental compliance assessments to identify regulatory obligations and gaps.
• Manage assigned projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues across environmental, health, safety, and management systems disciplines.
• Expand capabilities in safety compliance and EHS auditing through project experience and mentoring.
