Job summary

BSI Consulting Services in the U.S. is seeking an EHS Consultant - Environmental to support environmental compliance projects for industrial and commercial clients.

This is a remote role with travel up to 50% to client sites. You will interpret requirements, prepare permits, plans, and reports, conduct site visits, assess compliance, and communicate with clients and agencies while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental fields; 3–8 years of professional environmental consulting experience.
• Experience with environmental permits, plans, reports, or compliance deliverables.
• Experience with regulated industrial or commercial clients preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills; translate regulations into actionable actions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental compliance and consulting projects for industrial and commercial clients.
• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local environmental requirements to client operations.
• Prepare and support environmental permit applications, plans, reports, inventories, and compliance documentation.
• Conduct site visits, records reviews, and environmental compliance assessments to identify obligations and gaps.
• Manage assigned projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Communicate directly with clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues across environmental, health, safety, and management systems disciplines.
• Expand capabilities in safety compliance and EHS auditing through mentoring and training.
