Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an environmental field with relevant regulatory knowledge.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies; OSHA/MSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and monitoring of environmental media.
• Review and analyze data to identify patterns or problems.
• Draft letters and reports for review by Environmental Manager.
• Perform site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
• Develop, implement, and manage environmental policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with capital projects, operations, and corporate support functions.
• Develop plans to prevent or mitigate environmental damage and coordinate emergency response.
• Manage hazardous, non-regulated, solid, and universal waste per guidelines.
• Interact with regulatory agencies and auditors during inspections.
• Monitor air and water quality for hazardous pollutants.
