Job summary

You will work with site operations, maintenance, and capital projects, conduct sampling, audits, and prepare reports under the Environmental Manager. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years’ related experience are required, with proficiency in SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, permitting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
• Competency in OSHA and MSHA compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with SAP and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and monitoring of environmental media.
• Review and analyze data to identify patterns or problems.
• Draft letters and reports for review by Environmental Manager.
• Perform site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
• Develop, implement, and manage environmental policies and procedures as directed.
• Coordinate with capital projects, operations, and support functions for alignment.
• Develop plans to prevent or mitigate environmental damage and coordinate emergency responses.
• Manage hazardous, non-regulated, solid, and universal waste per regulations.
• Interact with regulatory agencies, auditors, and third parties during inspections.
• Monitor air and water quality for potential pollutants.
