Job summary

Albemarle invites an Environmental Professional to join the site in Silver Peak, Nevada. You will develop, implement, and manage programs to meet federal, state, and local environmental requirements.

The role supports operations, maintenance, and capital projects while engaging with regulatory agencies and audits. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field and 3–5 years of experience, with familiarity of OSHA and MSHA rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an environmental science, permitting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
• Competency in OSHA and MSHA compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and monitoring of environmental media.
• Review and analyze data to identify patterns or problems.
• Draft letters and reports for Environmental Manager.
• Perform site audits and inspections for compliance with environmental regulations and permits.
• Develop and manage environmental policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with operations, capital projects, and support functions for alignment.
