Job summary

This onsite role develops, implements, and manages programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations while supporting operations and capital projects.

The successful candidate will perform sampling and monitoring, review data, draft reports, conduct audits, and engage with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, permitting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of related work experience with environmental regulations.
• Experience with OSHA and MSHA compliance and environmental data handling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and monitoring of environmental media.
• Review and analyze data to identify patterns or problems.
• Draft letters and reports for review by Environmental Manager.
• Perform site audits and inspections to ensure permit compliance.
• Develop, implement, and manage environmental policies and procedures.
• Interact with regulatory agencies and audits during inspections.
