Safety Management Group (SMG) seeks a local Owner's Rep in Richmond, VA to provide environmental advisory services. The role coordinates environmental compliance programs, permits, and corporate policies within the region and project scope, ensuring adherence and risk mitigation.

The Environmental Advisor leads environmental plans, conducts site inspections, and collaborates with contractors to meet regulatory requirements.

Formación

• 7 years of environmental experience.
• Previous work on construction projects performing environmental services.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Environmental Studies or Geology or similar is required.
• Must possess thorough knowledge of environmental studies and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide environmental compliance oversight for construction activities.
• Support compliance with NPDES, RCRA, Stormwater, Air Permits, and SPCC requirements.
• Develop and manage environmental plans, permits, documentation, and records.
• Conduct site inspections and compliance assessments to identify environmental risks.
• Partner with contractors to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and permit requirements.
• Lead environmental incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver environmental training, guidance, and coaching to project teams and contractors.
• Support regulatory audits, agency interactions, and project-specific environmental programs.
