Job summary

Safety Management Group, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a local Owner’s Rep to provide environmental services and coordinate compliance programs across construction projects.

You will lead permitting, SPCC, Stormwater, and air permits, conduct site inspections, mentor teams, and support audits. A bachelor’s or associate degree in Environmental Studies or Geology is required, with at least seven years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 7 years of environmental experience in construction projects.
• Bachelors/Associates degree in Environmental Studies or Geology required.
• Thorough knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental compliance oversight for construction activities.
• Support compliance with NPDES, RCRA, Stormwater, Air Permits, and SPCC.
• Develop and manage environmental plans, permits, and records.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead environmental incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver environmental training and guidance to teams.
• Support regulatory audits and agency interactions.
