Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to environmental policies across warehousing and cross-docking operations.

You will lead due diligence, regulatory monitoring, audits, and training to mitigate risk and improve compliance. This role reports to the Director of Environmental Services and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders from RFP through steady-state operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or 5+ years in regulatory/consulting/transportation environments.
• Master's degree preferred in Environmental Science or related field.
• 5+ years in environmental roles in large corporate settings.
• 5+ years familiarity with environmental laws affecting transportation.
• 3+ years experience with hazardous materials storage/transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental due diligence for new supply chain opportunities with stakeholders.
• Monitor local, state and federal environmental regulations affecting Ryder operations.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to warehouses and cross-docking facilities.
• Develop and implement environmental training for waste, spill response, and regulatory reporting.
