Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to oversee compliance with Ryder environmental policies in supply chain services, including warehousing and crossdocking.

The role reports to the Director of Environmental Services and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders from RFP issuance through steady-state operations. Responsibilities include performing environmental due diligence, monitoring regulations for emissions, waste, and hazmat management, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or 5+ years of related experience with regulatory, corporate consulting, finance or transportation setting.
• Master's degree preferred Environmental Science or related field.
• 5+ years in progressively responsible environmental role in a large corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence assessments with stakeholders from RFP through Go Live to ensure compliance with Ryder policies and regulations.
• Monitor and apply updates to local, state and federal environmental regulations affecting warehousing, emissions, waste and hazmat programs.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to facilities, conduct audits, and coordinate responses to external audits.
• Develop and implement environmental training for waste management, spill response and regulatory reporting.
