Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to Ryder environmental policies across warehousing and cross-docking operations. You will lead due diligence, regulatory monitoring, and internal audits while collaborating with stakeholders from RFPs to steady-state operations.

The role emphasizes hazardous materials storage, development of environmental controls, and training programs to reduce risk and improve compliance. Travel up to 10-20% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or five+ years in regulatory, corporate consulting, finance or transportation setting.
• Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred.
• Five+ years in environmental field in large corporate setting with emphasis on regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental due diligence for new supply chain opportunities from RFP through Go Live.
• Stay current with environmental regulations impacting Ryder operations, including waste, hazmat and emissions.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to warehouse and cross-docking facilities and coordinate external audits.
• Develop and implement environmental training tools for waste management, spill response and regulatory reporting.
