Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required Environmental Science or five (5) years related experience with regulatory, corporate consulting, finance or transportation setting.
• Master's degree preferred Environmental Science or related field.
• Five (5) years or more progressively responsible position in environmental field with emphasis in large corporate setting.
• Familiarity with Environmental Laws impacting the transportation industry. required
• Experience with regulatory agency or consulting firm in the environmental area required
• Three (3) years or more Experience with hazardous materials storage and transportation. preferred
• Knowledge of Environmental Laws impacting the transportation and logistics industry. intermediate required

Responsibilities

• Performs environmental due diligence assessments for new supply chain opportunities from RFP through Go Live.
• Stays current with local, state and federal environmental regulations affecting emissions, waste and hazmat programs.
• Provides day-to-day compliance support to warehouse and cross-docking facilities, including audits.
• Develop and implement environmental training tools for waste management, spill response and regulatory reporting.
