Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to lead compliance efforts across warehousing and cross-docking operations.

You will analyze regulations, perform due diligence on new opportunities, and develop environmental controls to reduce risk under the guidance of the Environmental Services Director. The role requires coordinating with customers and regulators, delivering training on waste management and spill response, and supporting audits to ensure adherence to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or equivalent with 5+ years in regulatory, consulting, finance or transportation.
• Master's degree preferred in Environmental Science or related field.
• 5+ years in environmental field in large corporate setting with knowledge of environmental laws impacting transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental due diligence for new supply chain opportunities from RFP through Go Live.
• Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations affecting Ryder operations and hazmat management.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to warehouses and cross-docking facilities and coordinate audits.
• Develop and implement training tools for waste management, spill response, and regulatory reporting.
