Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or five+ years related experience.
• Master's degree preferred Environmental Science or related field.
• Five+ years progressively responsible position in the environmental field with emphasis in large corporate setting.
• Five+ years or more familiarity with Environmental Laws impacting transportation industry.
• Three+ years or more experience with hazardous materials storage and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental due diligence assessments for new supply chain opportunities through RFP to Go Live.
• Stay current with local, state and federal environmental regulations affecting Ryder operations.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to warehouse and cross-docking facilities, including audits.
• Develop and implement environmental training tools for waste management, spill response, and regulatory reporting.
