Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to lead compliance support for warehousing and cross-docking operations, focusing on hazardous materials storage and regulatory alignment.

You will collaborate with stakeholders from RFP to steady-state operations, implement environmental controls, and reduce risk through audits, training, and policy enforcement. The role demands strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work across multiple teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with environmental regulations in transportation/logistics.
• Progressively responsible environmental role in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental due diligence for new supply chain opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations for warehousing and hazmat.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support including audits and response to external audits.
• Develop and implement training on waste management, spill response and reporting.
