Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to lead compliance analysis, reporting, and controls across warehousing and crossdocking operations, with emphasis on hazardous materials handling.

Reporting to the Director of Environmental Services, you will collaborate with customers, regulators, and internal teams from RFP through steady-state operations, delivering training and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field required.
• Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred.
• Five years or more progressively responsible experience in environmental field in large corporate setting.
• Experience with hazardous materials storage and transportation preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental laws impacting transportation and logistics industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs environmental due diligence assessments for new supply chain opportunities ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
• Stays current with local, state, and federal environmental regulations affecting stationary emissions, waste and hazmat management to reduce risk.
• Provides day-to-day compliance support to warehouse and cross-docking facilities including audits and coordinating responses to external environmental audits.
